Has the new year brought you more than just time to use today?

Almost everywhere in the world, the arrival of the New Year is welcomed with great pomp, and even celebrated in religion and society with sacred rituals, carols, gifts and lots of fun. But I ask myself, as a man with a certain amount of common sense, and I think I would like to learn more about common sense so that I can then practice at least some of the things I have learned: has the year that ended not long ago brought me anything? You will have had some achievements, you will say. That depends. But what has the year itself contributed to the achievements that, thanks to the power and gifts that come from God, have knocked at my door? Come to think of it, the previous year and the ones that have gone before haven't even brought me time, I would say. I don't intend to complain by saying that. As we know, time can and does exist anyway. Regardless of the calendar. Just as the clock measures the units of time, according to the measurements that have been given to it, so does

About fasting - in another perspective

Fasting - what does this expression mean to you, probably heard from many mouths at least during this period?

Many people probably think of the word "fast" as defining certain times of the year when most members of Christendom's religions feel somewhat pressured by their religious leaders to abstain from animal foods for a certain period of time. time, considering certain, it seems, spiritual goals.

Or that seem to have something to do with something noble in man with which, according to religious people, he would have endowed us with divinity.

A question that seems to be echoing in more and more rational minds is: "What is the true fasting in the light of the Bible?"

After all, fasting consists in abstinence from the consumption of animal products and that's all"?

What would a true fast entail?

A question that resonates especially in this period in many rational minds is: what is it about a certain animal food that seems to prevent a man from cultivating and practicing the things that lead to his own spirituality?

What in the contents of some foods (which are usually consumed during the rest of the year and are present in the market) could prevent God from seeing what is in the heart of the fasting person and contacting him, and inverse?

Plausibly, the leadership of the majority religions within Christendom still preserves some types of beliefs and myths that appeared before and during the Middle Ages, and it is possible that certain precepts from the relatively recent past in psychology are known by some religions, according to which certain parts of the food we eat and - would leave an imprint on parts of our brain determining certain patterns of behavior, many of them useless in the context of manifestations considered appropriate in society, and some of them considered as "animal manifestations".

Even medicine, in its area of nutrition, recognizes the value of regular food breaks as beneficial for health if we hydrate with pure water.

Of course there is a difference between what doctors recommend and the practice of the religions of Christendom.

Possibly what today is known as fasting from a religious point of view, seems to have come from some pre-Christian practices.

But if fasting would have benefits from a spiritual point of view for man, why then did God create foods suitable for man and even allowed them to be used?

I have nothing against the religious practices currently existing on Earth, but the attitude behind them gives me food for thought.

However, I have asked myself several times: considering that food is for man and that man was created to enjoy life and his work, therefore I do not see fasting with food as pleasing to God, who is so fasting pleasing to God and useful for our spiritual and physical health?

I have found it fitting that true SILENCE is actually fasting that God likes, and not merely abstaining from time to time from certain foods that God has created and made available for us to enjoy.

But what kind of silence does God like, you may ask?

Of course NOT an angry silence, when the feelings are amplified!

Such silence can anger God.

And abstaining from eating animal foods has no value in God's eyes when the heart is filled with anger or sorrow!

And it is remarkable that even in terms of health, such a fast based on anger, hatred and the cultivation of negative feelings and maintaining them for a long time in the mind, not only does not help us at all, but even harms our health and shortens the life of those who they deceive themselves by trying to practice it.

Avoiding unnecessary talk is the SILENCE that God considers to be the important part of true fasting, namely its "engine". And especially avoiding hatred, anger and malice!

It's for nothing that you eat "fast food" and nurture negative feelings, malice and hatred in your heart and mind!

But by choosing to love, and to be as attentive as possible to yourself, to your feelings and thoughts, you can eat anything!

God is not angry about it!!

After all, only He created them!

Love, live,be careful what and how you feel!

Take care of your spirituality to be true, not otherwise!

You can eat meat too!

Of course if you want and choose for yourself.

You can choose to live your life, not to be influenced by religion!

Many religions come to people with things that are more or less useless and that even their religious leaders do not believe in and a large number of them do not practice.

However, avoiding being driven by negative feelings, avoiding hatred, anger, inappropriate pride and malice, this is the true fasting pleasing to God.

By doing this and choosing to nurture love instead of hate, kindness instead of malice, positive feelings and proper self-esteem, God will look kindly on you and accept your worship, and you can enjoy life. Some will recognize the role of fasting in curbing the impulses characteristic of human imperfection.

But the body was given to us so that we can tame it through education and personal development, as a special and useful gift from the Creator, not to subjugate it unnecessarily through starvation and torture! Fasting is everyone's choice if they want to fast or not.

But let's not delude ourselves into thinking that through this we would get something specific from the divinity, and especially bad and ugly things towards other people, that through such an attitude we not only do not get something important from God, but we risk losing His approval, and by persisting in such an open attitude against true Christianity, we will also lose the gift of redemption through which we can benefit from the forgiveness of sins, and the most important gift that has been offered to mankind: the life that the Almighty promises for the people who want to listen to Him.

According to the Bible, fasting does not save us, fasting does not solve our problems!

Man fasts if he wants to; only let us not be deceived and controlled by the religions of Christendom!

From a nutritional and medical point of view, the beneficial fast for the health of any human being is as follows: pure water 5% of the body weight, immediately after waking up from sleep, then fasting, meaning total abstinence from food until around 11 o'clock, after we drink pure water, we exercise and we maintain as advanced a level as possible of good thoughts.

I see this as the fast that helps every human being who chooses to follow it, and the good news is that this kind of fast lasts a lifetime, not just a certain day or days!

I wish you a life with lots of health, that from here begins any achievement and involvement in your own life!
